Biography

Dr. Roger Brinner was a Co-Founding Partner & served as Chief Market Strategist at SandPointe. He served as Partner & Co-Chief Economist at The Parthenon Group. He is an expert economist and analyst of the U.S. and international economies. Roger has many long-term relationships with corporate clients on issues relating to their strategies, market growth, pricing, and equity valuation. Roger's experience includes senior positions at respected business, academic, and government institutions. Roger has been an economics professor at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and for several years led the preeminent economic research group Standard & Poor's/Data Resources. Roger has also served as a Senior Economist with the President's Council of Economic Advisors and was a Visiting Fellow with the Federal Reserve. Roger received a B.A. in Economics from Kalamazoo College and a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. Prior to joining SandPointe, LLC, Dr Roger E Brinner was a partner and chief economist of The Parthenon Group, LLC. Dr Brinner has also been a professor at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and, for over 20 years, led the preeminent economic research group, Standard & Poors/Data Resources. He is a distinguished economist and business advisor to corporations and governments. Dr Brinner frequently testifies before Congress on budget, taxation, and monetary policy issues and served previously as senior staff economist in the Council of Economic Advisors. He is also a trustee at Kalamazoo College. Dr Brinner has a BA from Kalamazoo College and a PhD in economics from Harvard University.
