Biography

Mr. Jay Eastman is a Co-Founder and serves as Principal at EG Capital Group. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Vital Motion. He currently chairs the Advisory Board at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center. He serves as Board Member at T1D Fund. He and his wife Katama has been involved with JDRF since their daughter Merrill was diagnosed with T1D in 2004 at 15 months. Previously, he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions teams at JP Morgan in New York and London. He also worked in real estate finance at Heitman/JMB in Chicago. He has also been actively involved in the biopharma investing space in association with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He sits on two boards that are spinouts of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute: OncoPep, an immunotherapy platform focused on multiple targets. He served as Board Member at C4 Therapeutics and SuperStroke USA. He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. from Lake Forest College.
