Biography

Mr. Iain Munro serves as Head, Private Equity - North America at BMO Global Asset Management. He has more than 20 years of experience delivering financial advice and solutions to Canadian and U.S. mid-market financial sponsors and companies as a private equity investor, lender, and investment banker. His prior roles include RBC Mezzanine Finance where he provided junior capital to mid-market private equity-sponsored transactions and growth-oriented businesses and Managing Director & Head of North American Private Equity Coverage, for a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bank of Nova Scotia, where he led teams based in Chicago, Charlotte and Toronto that provided debt, equity co-investments and fund investments to U.S. and Canadian financial sponsors. He earned an MBA from the University of Toronto as well as a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario.
