John Grillo General Information

Biography

Mr. John Grillo is the Founder and Owner and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Executive Fliteways. He holds a B.A. from Syracuse University. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Major after having flown the C-130 extensively throughout Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He is the recipient of more than thirty military awards and commendations, including the Silver Star. His flying experience also includes his duties as Captain of the C-5A, which he flew extensively in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and a twenty-year career as a Captain for American Airlines flying Boeing 707 and 727 aircraft. As a member of the National Air Transportation Association Committee for Air Charter, he helped to establish operational and regulatory standards for our industry. Mr. Grillo sits on the Board of Governors for the Air Charter Safety Foundation, a national organization of Part 135 operators with the goal of promoting and improving flight safety in our industry.
