Shane Galie General Information

Biography

Mr. Shane Galie serves as Managing Director and Co-head of the Public Investments & Investment Committee Member at CornerStone Partners. He rejoined CornerStone Partners in 2009 from the Dartmouth College Investment Office. There he was a senior investment analyst handling sourcing and due diligence of traditional and alternative investment managers, strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction, risk management, and performance reporting. He was with the University of Virginia Investment Management Company for several years analyzing hedge fund and long-only public equity manager exposures and performance attributes. He also calculated and monitored valuations of private equity and real asset investments and conducted due diligence on prospective managers. When previously at CornerStone Partners, he sourced and analyzed prospective investment managers, assisted in asset allocation, and developed performance and quantitative reports. He graduated summa cum laude and University Valedictorian from James Madison University. He has also studied abroad in Belgium and is a member of CFA Virginia and the CFA Institute.
