Biography

Mr. Pete Johnson is the Co-Founder and serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Asymmetric Capital Management. He currently serves as a business partner and executive to AsymMETRIC Capital Management which offers asymmetric risk/returns for investors using an active systematic rebalancing (ASR) methodology. He also serves as a partner and advisor to DLK Investment Management in Solana Beach, CA, which offers quality equities and bonds for high-net-worth and smaller institutional investors. He also founded GrowthTrek Consulting in 2015. He was formerly a partner at Investment Science Corporation (ISC) which subsequently merged with Freeman Associates in 2009 to form Freeman Investment Management, Inc., specializing in quantitative value equities and alternatives strategies. Prior to ISC, he spent 15 years at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management (NACM), based in San Diego, CA, serving in various executive roles and as a partner. He also previously served as a Marketing Director for Pacific Financial Management Co., (PFAMCo) encompassing Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO), Cadence Capital, NFJ, and Parametric. During the 1980s, he worked with Fidelity Investments and served as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch in Dallas, TX. He is currently a Committee Member for the Wall Street Leadership Group at the University of Notre Dame and served on the Interview Committee for the Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program (HYSP) at Notre Dame. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
