Biography

Mr. Robert Chadwick serves as Partner, Co-Chair of the firm's ERISA Team, Co-Chair of the firm's Midwest Employment Team & Chair of the firm's Workplace Health and Safety Team at Freeman Mathis & Gary. Mr. Chadwick has almost 40 years of experience in a variety of areas that entail him representing companies, fiduciaries and directors and officers in the areas of labor and employment, workplace safety and health (OSHA), ERISA investigations and litigation, D&O disputes and other miscellaneous professional liability matters. He is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1990-Present). His skill set includes drafting policies and agreements, counseling as to compliance and risk management, and providing legal representation in negotiations, claim resolution, investigations, litigation, class actions and appeals. As a part of his D&O practice, Mr. Chadwick defends corporations, limited liability companies, and officers and directors of various legal entities in business disputes, including claims for unfair business practices, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets, interference with contractual relations, tortious interference with business relations, and breach of contract.
