Biography

Mr. Miguel Sosa is the Founding Partner of Premia Global Advisors. Previously, Mr. Sosa worked at Merrill Lynch for more than 30 years, most recently in its Private Banking and Investment Group, where he obtained his Global Institutional Consulting (GIC) Designation and served as a qualified Portfolio Manager. He was a member of the firm's Advisory Council to Management from 2002 to 2005. Recently, Mr. Sosa served as a panelist on the Managing Investments in a Volatile, Low-Yield Environment session at the Global Private Wealth Summit, New York, in April 2017. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Sosa was a member of the U.S. Air Force. During his time of service, he received two Air Force Commendation medals. He currently serves on the board of the Archdiocese of Miami Catholic Community Foundation and is a member of its Investment Committee. Previously he served on the Board of Trustees of St. Philip's Episcopal School for six years and was its Chairman for three. He also served as a board member for a local hospital, Pan American. He is the past President of the local chapter of Legatus, a Catholic lay organization of business leaders in the South Florida community. He earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation.
