Biography

Mr. Paulo Barreto serves as an Executive, Investments at Alothon Group. Mr. Barrreto serves as Chief Executive Officer at Acqualimp. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at Casadoce Industria e Comercio. He has over 20 years of experience investing and managing companies in Brazil. He is currently the CEO of Casadoce, an Alothon portfolio company, which he advised in sourcing as an investment opportunity. In 1996, he co-founded Atmosfera Gestão e Higienização de Têxteis ("Atmosfera"), an industrial laundry services company. He served as the Company's CEO between 1996 and 2008. During his tenure, he consolidated the market by acquiring eleven competitors, diversified the Company into new segments, and expanded the Company into new regions. In 2002, Advent International acquired a majority stake in Atmosfera, where Mr. Barreto stayed on as CEO. Prior to founding Atmosfera, Mr. Barreto worked in the Brazilian financial sector. Mr. Barreto holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Mackenzie in São Paulo.
