Biography

Ms. Cherry Miao served as Head of Finance & Data at Headway. She served as Vice President at Accel. Cherry Miao joined Accel in 2018 and is focused on high-growth technology companies. She represents Accel on the boards of Trade Republic and Invoice2Go, and helped lead Accel's investments in Galileo and Trade Republic. Prior to Accel, Cherry helped scale the former Accel portfolio company Lightspeed HQ from 60 to over 600 employees by spearheading two major international acquisitions and raising more than $250 million in venture backing. Over five years at Lightspeed, she served in a variety of roles across strategy, analytics, partnerships, and corporate development, and most recently served as Vice President of Data & Analytics, leading a team of analysts and information systems developers. Prior to Lightspeed, Cherry was a private equity investor at Audax and Lindsay Goldberg. Cherry is from Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard.
