Biography

Mr. Tarun Jotwani is a Founding Partner of Naviter Capital. Japanese bank Nomura is a senior banking and capital markets veteran of 25 years. An alumnus of Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, and Nomura Securities. He has built successful businesses in different roles, CEO of EMEA, CEO of India, Global Head of Markets and Fixed Income, Head of Fixed Income EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. He has appointed him, global head of fixed income, as chief executive of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, replacing Sadeq Sayeed. He, who will continue to run fixed income globally, joined Nomura in December 2008 as a senior managing director after the bank acquired the Asia-Pacific operations of Lehman Brothers. At the time, he was the first former Lehman Brothers banker to be handed a top global business line leadership across investment banking and capital markets. At Lehman Brothers, he spent the majority of his career in Asia, rising to head capital markets for the Asia-Pacific region, covering fixed income, equities, and principal investing groups. He was also chief executive of Lehman Brothers, India. He had joined Lehman Brothers in Tokyo in 1995, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley in New York and Tokyo.
