Robert Kovecs General Information

Biography

Mr. Robert Kovecs serves as Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President at Washington Capital Management. He joined the firm in 2016 and is located in our Seattle office. He directs a team of real estate investment accounting and finance professionals and has overall corporate finance and treasury responsibilities. He began his career in the real estate industry in 1989. His professional experience includes BMGI Investments from 2013-2016 as the Controller overseeing multiple investment types including real estate, and Bentall Kennedy from 2002-2013 as the Portfolio Controller of an open-ended multi-billion-dollar commercial real estate fund. He also held positions with Russell Investments and Trammell Crow Company prior to joining Bentall Kennedy. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Washington State University. He was certified with the NASD as a Financial and Operations Principal and has served as a contributing participant for NCREIF. He is a CPA and a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
