Biography

Dr. Hubertus Stuttmann is the Founder & serves as Partner at LMPS Rechtsanwalte. Dr. Stuttmann specializes in advising companies, in particular, stock corporations (including SE and KGaA), their boards, and members of their boards on corporate and capital market law. Before founding LMPS Rechtsanwälte, Dr. Stuttmann worked for several years as a lawyer for the international law firm Linklaters in the Corporate/M&A department. In 2017/18, he spent a secondment in the Lisbon office of Linklaters and has since been admitted as a Portuguese lawyer (Advogado). Hubertus Stuttmann studied law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University in Münster and received his doctorate on a constitutional law topic at the Humboldt University in Berlin. As part of his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, Hubertus Stuttmann worked at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and New York, and at the Federal President's Office in Berlin. He also worked as a research assistant in the corporate law departments of the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Hengeler Mueller
