Biography

Dr. Scott Sills serves as Executive at Mont Vista Capital. Dr. Sills brings valuable depth to the firm's Technical Advisory Committee. he holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash., and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware in Newark, Del. He currently is retained by Micron Technology of Boise, Idaho, one of the world's leading providers of advanced semiconductor solutions. In this capacity, he is responsible for process developments critical to the fabrication of nanoscale electronic devices for memory and optical sensor applications. Dr. Sills' previous experience includes ten years of scientific R&D and engineering experience in the nanotechnology sector and the chemical manufacturing industry. While a post-doctoral fellow at the IBM Corporation at their Almaden Research Center and as a visiting scientist at the University of Washington's Chemical Engineering Department, his efforts aimed to drive fundamental scientific developments toward viable nanotechnologies.
