Biography

Mr. Lawrence Harding is a Founder & serves as Managing Partner at Presidio Capital. He started his career in the financial markets in 1986 participating in various capital market disciplines; including seven years in the fixed-income markets in London, then relocating to Australia where he established the predecessor business to Presidio in 1992, before moving the business to Singapore in 1998. This business has a specialization in emerging markets investing and was a major player in the distressed credit and asset markets of Asia during and post the Asia Crisis in 1997/1998 and the GFC in 2008. In our investments, Mr. Harding is frequently in an active, executive and/or Board role. His investments are in Asia-Pacific, Europe/UK, and the Americas, and in industries spanning as diverse sectors mining, agri- commodities production, through to education, retail, property, the Financial sector, and the film/entertainment industry. He has a B.A. (Joint Hons) in modern languages and economics from the University of Northumbria in the UK.
