Biography
Mr. Jayanta Basu is the Founder and serves as Chairman at CX Partners. He served as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director at Ujjivan. He serves as a Board Member at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. He served as a Board Member at Bloom Hotels. Prior to founding CX Partners, he was a Director with Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI) and was with Citi's private equity business for 8 years. During his tenure with CVCI, he worked to identify & invest, manage and exit a large number of companies across a wide spectrum of industries including, IT Enabled Services, Financial Services, Auto, Metals & Mining, Infrastructure, Pharma & Specialty Chemicals, Oil & Gas services, Media and Textiles. Prior to CVCI, he had several years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience with Citibank. He has served on the board of several companies, such as Daksh, Jai Balaji, Subhash Projects, Globe Capital, and SIS Group Enterprises among others. He earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a B.A. degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University.
