Biography

Mr. Kevin Kooman served as a Partner at Patriot Financial Partners. Mr. Kooman has over 20 years of investment banking and financial management experience. Prior to joining Patriot, he served as a Vice President of Investment Banking at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in the firm's Financial Institutions Group. As a senior member of the group, Mr. Kooman's primary responsibilities included marketing the firm's services, initiating relationships with prospective financial service clients, and directing and executing client transactions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt securities offerings, and branch purchases and sales. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. Kooman held the positions of divisional Controller and Manager of Financial Operations at CIGNA Corporation and ACE Limited. In these roles, he was responsible for managing the financial reporting and treasury operations within the companies' Property and Casualty divisions. Mr. Kooman began his career in the Philadelphia office of Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Kooman received a B.S. degree in Accounting, with honors, from Villanova University and received an M.B.A. in Finance, with high distinction, from Temple University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive).
