Biography

Mr. Sylvester Ayisi serves as Investment Principal at Argentil Capital Management. He has spent his entire career 15-year career in banking and finance, gaining experience in a wide variety of sectors, from energy and agriculture to tourism, aviation, and shipping. As a former banker, he is also very familiar with stocks, bonds, derivatives, alternative investments in addition to classic bank loan and international trade financing. Two years prior to joining ACML, he worked as Country Representative for the crowd investing platform; frankly.green owned by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. The platform facilitated the financing of green projects and/or green businesses in emerging markets by European investors. This experience expanded his skills in the areas of green finance and impact investing. Over his career, he has overseen/facilitated over $100m in debt, equity, and international trade financing to businesses in various sectors in Ghana. He is a CFA Charterholder and studied Agricultural Economics.
