Biography

Mr. Gregor Sluga served as Chief Executive Officer at KD Private Equity. Mr. Sluga has been employed as a consultant to the management of KD Group, and since November 2011 also as a consultant to the board of the Adriatic Slovenica insurance company. In 2013, he was a member of the board of the insurance company KD Življenje, and after the merger of the insurance business of KD Življenje with Adriatic Slovenica, he returned to the position of advisor to the board of Adriatic Slovenica, where he also holds the key function of monitoring business compliance from 1 January 2016. He is a Master of Science by profession, in 1991 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and in 2000 he became a Master of Management and Organization (finance), also at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. In 1992, he joined the Ministry of Finance as the secretary of the then Securities and Exchange Commission, and when the Securities Market Agency was established in 1994, became head of the licensing department. He performed various tasks at the Agency until 2003, and most recently, from November 1999, he was assistant director and head of the securities market sector. He was a member of several supervisory boards (Gorenje, Deželna banka Slovenije), also in companies abroad.
