Biography

Mr. Robert Beutler is a Co-Founder and serves as Manufacturing Engineer, Gratings & Vice President, Engineering at Wasatch Photonics. He is responsible for keeping the manufacturing process, equipment and facilities running properly at our Logan, Utah manufacturing facility. Bob understands holography inside and out, and is instrumental in keeping our manufacturing processes finely honed. He is a well-seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience designing, building and maintaining automated laser-replicating equipment. He has built several automated laser exposure systems, including equipment for photopolymer and dichromate gelatin films. He has also designed and built other automated equipment used in optical film conversion, trained personnel and was responsible for the facility. Bob has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.
