Biography

Mr. Daniel Jacques is a Co-Founder and serves as a Managing Partner of Headwater Equity Partners. He has more than 25 years of experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking, bringing extensive experience in corporate finance to the Headwater Equity team. Prior to founding Headwater Equity Partners, he served as a Senior Director at HSBC Capital (Canada) where he sourced, negotiated, executed and exited numerous private equity and mezzanine investments in Western Canada. He also served as Chairman of the Board and a Board Member for a number of portfolio companies in a variety of industries. Prior to joining HSBC Capital (Canada), he worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley's Technology Group in Silicon Valley, at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette in New York and KPMG corporate finance in Vancouver. He is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program at the University of Western Ontario. In addition, he has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors from Simon Fraser University. Mr. Jacques also serves as Board member at Interior Heavy Equipment Operator School.
