Biography

Mr. Tuan Tran served as Board Observer at PKWARE. Mr. Tuan Tran served as Vice President of Private Equity at Novacap Investments. In addition to his M.Sc. Finance, Mr. Tran holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Montréal and a Graduate Diploma in Management from HEC Montréal. He is a CFA charterholder. Mr. Tran is primarily in charge of investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sector. His deals and investment experience include Creaform (acquired by Ametek), iWeb (acquired by Internap), Fibrenoire, Stingray, SynergX, PKware and Host.net. Prior to joining Novacap in 2007, Mr. Tran worked in the investment banking group at CIBC World Markets where he was involved in a variety of merger & acquisition transactions, fairness opinions and financial advisory assignments. Mr. Tran also assisted on corporate finance advisory work and equity financings. Previously, he had worked at Desjardins Securities and National Bank Financial. Mr. Tran was on the Board of Directors of Host.net and SynergX and acts as an observer on the Board of Fibrenoire.
