Biography

Mr. Guangzhang Chen served as Chief Financial Officer at Retrace. Mr. Guangzhang Chen served as Portfolio Co-Management at Lotus Domaine. He served as Managing Director and Head of the U.S. Technology Media Group at CEC Capital Group. He has been engaged in investment banking, private equity, and corporate development work in the TMT industry for 18 years, with a cumulative transaction amount of more than US$5 billion. He leads the U.S. team in the service of Internet software and services, as well as customers in the telecommunications, media, and entertainment industries, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions and financing in the United States and Asia. Prior to the acquisition of Siemer & Associates by E-Capital, Mr. Chen served as a Managing Director and was a member of the TPG Capital (TPG Asia) investment team, participating in cross-border acquisitions and venture capital investments between the United States and Asia. Prior to joining Siemer & Associates, Mr. Chen also worked at Montgomery as vice president of media and software teams, where he participated in large-scale strategic M&A deals involving Disney and the WPP Group. Dan began his career in 1999 and served as a banker at Merrill Lynch in New York and San Francisco. Mr. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University.
