Biography

Mr. Omar Alzumai is a Co-Founder & serves as Managing Director at Kout Capital. He is a finance and real estate professional with more than two decades of hands-on experience in business development, real estate, private equity, investment banking and advisory. He has broad exposure to international markets having worked in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He previously established and raised funds for an international real estate company with £200 million in assets under management and formed a regulated investment bank in Kuwait. He has also founded a real estate management and advisory company in Kuwait. Formerly, he was VP at Wafra Partners in NYC, Managing Director at Watheeqa Holding Group in Kuwait, Chairman and Managing Director at Q8 Capital in Kuwait and Founder and Managing Partner of Kout Capital LLC in the Cayman Islands. At current, he is focused on advising on real estate private equity and asset procurement, management, and dispositions within Europe. He is also dedicated to M&A advisory within the MENA region. He is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute with a degree in Finance and Financial Instructions from Kuwait University and an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance from Henley Business School. He serves on various companies' boards.
