Biography

Mr. Kevin Teng is the Founder & serves as Managing Partner at Terrasys Innovation Ventures. He serves as Board Member at Crust Group. Mr. Teng is a climate investor and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience leading fortune 500 engineering, development and sustainability teams. Since 2019, he has managed his family's impact investments in early-stage catalytic sustainability businesses, focusing on food & agriculture, climate tech, and circularity solutions in Asia. Based in Santa Monica, CA and Singapore, he is also a senior investment advisor for SoHo Capital as well as a board director for several early-stage impact start-ups. Formerly a senior executive at Las Vegas Sands Corp. (Las Vegas) and Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Mr. Teng was responsible for engineering, development, sustainability, safety, and construction. In his 14 years with the Sands Group, he held senior executive positions as the Chief Engineer, Head of Development, and Chief Sustainability Officer. He is an active member of Toniic Impact Investors and the Asia Sustainability Angels, as well as a Fellow with the Aspen Institute, a former US-China Fulbright Scholar, and a LEED Accredited Professional. Mr. Teng has an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BS-Engineering from Duke University. He enjoys hiking, swimming and jiu-jitsu in his free time, and splits time between Santa Monica and Singapore.
