Biography

Ms. Lauren LaBar co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer at Upaway. She, who is revolutionizing the travel industry with her unparalleled expertise and unwavering commitment to creating a more connected and equitable global community. With a remarkable career spanning over a decade, she has established herself as a trailblazer in the world of travel, having helped FROSCH, a luxury travel company acquired by Chase Bank, grow into a multi-billion dollar company. She is a world traveler and a woman of action, having spent over 2 years living abroad in Spain and Thailand and visiting 28 countries (and counting!). Her experiences in diverse, vibrant cultures have fueled her desire to assist others in their worldly endeavors. She began her career in travel working for the Ministry of Madrid as a Culture and Language Ambassador. She then partnered with the Council on International Education Exchange, living and working in a small village in Northern Thailand. Upon returning to the US after visiting 30+ countries, she joined one of the globe's leading travel expertise agencies, where she played a pivotal role in marketing, training, events, and communications.
