Biography

Dr. Anthony M. Caristo serves as Podiatrist at Delaware Foot and Ankle Group. He previously, co-owned the company. Dr. Caristo began his studies in medicine when he received a partial scholarship to attend The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He was awarded the prestigious American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management Tedi H. Clarke DPM Scholarship and the American Podiatric Medical Association Membership Scholarship in 1997. He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (now Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine) in 1998. Dr. Caristo completed his residency at Christiana Care Health Systems and served as Chief Resident. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) by the American Board of Wound Management.
