Biography

Mr. Shawn Hansen serves as Senior Managing Director, US West Investment at Greystar Real Estate Partners. He and his team are responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management throughout the Western US, which currently encompasses over $6 billion in multi-housing assets. Market coverage includes Southern California, Northern California, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City. In addition to leading the Western region, he also oversees Greystar's active adult investment efforts nationally and serves on the firm's US Investment Committee. Prior to joining Greystar in 2011, he worked at Moran & Company, where he focused on the sale of institutional-quality apartment communities throughout California and the Pacific Northwest. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Southern California.
