Biography

Mr. Richard Price serves as Executive Chairman and Board Member at Mesirow Financial. He serves as a Board member at World Business Chicago. He also serves as Director at Mesirow Financial Private Equity Advisors. He served as an Advisory Board Member at Traverse Pointe Partners. He also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mesirow Financial Administrative. Previously, he served as its Chief Operating Officer and President. Founded in 1937, Mesirow Financial has excelled at meeting the needs of its global client base by delivering tailored solutions and measurable results. He joined the organization in 1972 to establish our insurance services business and was appointed president of our insurance agency in 1982. A key leader of the firm, he has been a member of our board of directors since its inception in 1987. He is passionate about contributing to Chicago's business community and giving back to many philanthropic organizations. Currently, he sits on the board of World Business Chicago and The Executives' Club of Chicago, is vice-chair of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and member of The Economic Club of Chicago and The Commercial Club of Chicago. He was appointed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) Council by President Barack Obama, to the Cook County Economic Advisory Council by Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, and to the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority Board by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. He also serves on the board of trustees of Rush University Medical Center and The Field Museum, as well as the board of directors of PrivateBancorp and The Private Bank, the James Tyree Foundation, Chicago Police Foundation, and Get In Chicago and Big Shoulders Fund.
