Biography

Mr. Sandeep Lakhanpal serves as a Board Member at Polaris Smart Metering. Mr. Lakhanpal serves as a Board Member at Polaris Smart Metering. He is a Principal of I Squared Capital, focused on deal sourcing and diligence in India. Before joining I Squared Capital in 2021, He spent six years at Cube Highways, an investment platform of ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund I set up in Singapore with a mandate to acquire and operate transportation assets in India, mainly highways, logistics, and other urban infrastructure, where he headed M&A and business development activities. Before He joined Cube Highways in 2015, he spent 8 years working at Ernst & Young where he was promoted to Vice President. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Manager for over a year at CRISIL, an advisory services company focused on Public Private Partnership projects. He is a graduate of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and Punjab Technical University, where he received an MBA and a Bachelor of Technology with a focus on Electrical Engineering respectively. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
