Biography

Mr. Itamar Novick is the Founder and serves as General Partner at Recursive Ventures. He serves as Advisor at Placer.ai and carepredict. He serves as Chief Business Officer and Investor at Life360. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Recursive Ventures. He possesses a unique combination of formal VC Experience and Startup operational expertise and leverages his experience to help founders at the Pre-seed and Seed stage gain early momentum. He has worked for 15+ years in Startups in various engineering, product, and business roles. He was a founding Team and CPO/CBO/CFO at Life360 (IPO >$1B Mkt. cap), Head of Product at Gigya (sold to SAP for $350m), and has a strong engineering and product background. He also spent 10+ years in Venture Capital - Founder at Recursive Ventures I & II, Institutional VC as a Senior Associate at Morgenthaler Ventures (Canvas Ventures), and Founding Partner at UpWest Labs I. He was recently named a Business Insider Top 100 global seed investor. He holds an MBA degree in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley (2012), and a BS degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo (2005).
