Biography

Mr. Mustafa Siddiqui served as Senior Managing Director at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. He focuses on the acquisition of minority ownership interests in private equity and other private-market alternative asset management firms. Mr. Siddiqui was previously a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone's Private Equity Group, where he was involved in the execution of several investments, including those made through Royal Resources and Siccar Point. Before joining Blackstone in 2009, he held roles at Springbok Capital, General Atlantic, and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Siddiqui received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, where he graduated magna cum laude, an A.M. in Regional Studies from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
