Biography

Ms. Alyssa Vargas served as Chief Financial Officer at Frida. She served as a Senior Associate at Cross Keys Capital. She is a member of the Miami-Dade chapter of the SCORE Association and the Harvard Business School Club of South Florida. She has a portfolio of financial and operating experience across a spectrum of industries. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, she joined Johnson & Johnson's Financial Leadership Development Program where she worked on the post-merger integration of Pfizer's Consumer Healthcare business, helped execute the divestiture of ALZA Corporation (a pharmaceutical subsidiary), and served in various financial and strategic planning capacities for Vistakon (a medical devices subsidiary). Her assignments took her across the continental US, where she resided in Jacksonville FL, Princeton NJ, and San Francisco CA. Before completing her undergraduate studies, she interned for the Lehman Brothers in New York City. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteer consulting with SCORE to help local entrepreneurs improve and grow their businesses. She received her Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In addition, she holds the designation of Certified Management Accountant.
