Biography

Mr. Sandeep Fakun serves as Board Member at Helion Venture Partners. He served as a Board Member at MainOne. He is a Fellow of the Chartered and Certified Accountants of UK ("FCCA") and a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners of UK ("STEP"). After starting his career in the Public Sector, he moved to De Chazal du Mee & Co, the then representative of Arthur Anderson in Mauritius and Africa, a leading audit / service firm in Mauritius with over 650 employees. For 8 years, he worked on several audit and consultancy assignments for companies ranging from manufacturing, distribution, agricultural, banking and insurance. De Chazal du Mee & Co is now known as BDO De Chazal Du Mee. He moved to their offshore arm, Multiconsult Ltd as consultant and for 7 years, he was involved in the setting up and administration of Global Business Companies, most of which were set up to invest in India and China. In 2004, he moved to Simcocks Trust (Mauritius) Limited [now Dale International Trust Company Limited] as Director - Trust and Company administration. In this capacity, he was involved mainly in the set up and administration of offshore companies (Mauritius and other jurisdiction) and as well as trusts (Mauritius and other jurisdiction).
