Biography

Mr. Hojjat Salemi serves as Chief Business Development Officer, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Tech Partnerships & Senior Vice President of Silicon Technology at Ranovus. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Deep Vision. He served as the General Manager and Vice President of Engineering at Cortina Systems. He is also the Vice President of the Engineering Department. In October 2001, he, Amir Nayyerhabibi, and Zino Chair began their quest to add to the communication industry with the next great fabless semiconductor company: Cortina Systems, Inc. Cortina creates new communication solutions for Transport and Access infrastructures through mixed-signal integration. His focus on design and building effective teams enabled Cortina to grow in a tough economic environment from a start-up to a leader and game changer in the semiconductor industry. He holds MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
