Biography

Mr. Marc Weill serves as Senior Advisor & Venture Partner at Two Sigma Ventures. He serves as a Venture Partner at Antler. He comes to Two Sigma Ventures after being an independent private investor in strategic and financial consulting (2009 to 2014). In this role, he assembled, sold, and donated several precious stone/mineral collections, which are on public display at the Museum of Natural History and the Bruce Museum of Greenwich, CT. Before this role, he served as chairman of City Light Capital Investment (2004 to 2008), a venture capital investment firm specializing in early-stage (start-up) enterprises focused on progressive solutions involving products contributing to the safety and well-being of society, including enterprise sustainability, green technology, and impact investment projects. He also served as chairman of WST Partners (2001 to 2003), where he raised 60 million in assets, and chief investment officer/senior EVP of Citigroup (1991 to 2000), where he led the Citigroup Investment department of 600 employees and $130 billion in insurance, investment, pension fund, and wealth management business lines. He holds an MBA in Economics and Accounting from Columbia University and a BA in Economics and Business from Vanderbilt.
