Biography

Mr. Andrew Jenks serves as Partner at Drive Capital. Mr. Jenks serves as Board Member at Immuta, Voxel51, Meroxa, Stateless and Branch. He co-founded and served as General Partner at Stage One Capital and served as Board Member at Lightstream, Ascent Technologies, Molecula and Medium. Mr. Jenks is also an Angel Investor. He is a Board Observer at Aftercode. Earlier, he co-founded Formation Data Systems, a software-defined storage company. Before Formation, he was a founder of 2 other software businesses; Discovery Mining, acquired by Interwoven, and Infinite Research/Compete, acquired by WPP. Before Stage One, Mr. Jenks wrote code, raised money, built sales teams, led marketing teams, managed hundreds of people, and grew businesses from incubation to acquisition. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of Autonomy Optimost, the revenue optimization and online testing division at Autonomy, a $6 billion FTSE 100 UK software company. In 2002 he founded Discovery Mining, a widely recognized leader in the SaaS-based electronic discovery software market. He remained on board as Vice President for the new Electronic Discovery division within Interwoven. He began his technology career at Alexa where he was a software engineer building search-based algorithms for the 7 petabyte web crawl. Mr. Jenks was acquired by Amazon.com where he was part of the research division involved with Amazon's recommendation engine. He has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah. He served as Board Member at Rambl.
