Biography

Mr. Shahar Tzafrir serves as a Board Member at DeepCure and Buildots. He serves as Managing Partner at TLV Partners. He is an Angel Investor. He served as a General Partner at Magma Venture Partners. He served as a board member at Guesty. He joined Magma in 2013 and brings the firm over two decades of entrepreneurial and executive operational know-how. He is a 3x Start-up veteran (his three Start-ups were acquired by VMware (NASDAQ: VMW); CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA); and Cordys respectively). Before Magma, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Field Operations at Digital Fuel Technologies (2006-2011) in London, where he built and launched Digital Fuel's successful business trajectory, including direct sales and inside sales, and partner & channel sales. There, he also established the company's SaaS and cloud sales model. Prior to his tenure in London, he was General Manager and Vice President of R&D at Digital Fuel Technologies' Israel branch (2005-2006), where he oversaw a turnaround in the company's product group. From 2000 to 2005, he served as Vice President of Research and Development and Services at Oblicore, where he oversaw the company's product definition and execution from its first stages of inception. Before Oblicore, he founded the Start-up Federation Inc. (1997-2000). He began his career in the ICT field during his service in the Israeli Defense Forces Mamram computer software unit (1991-1997). In Mamram, he was the recipient of 4 outstanding performance awards, including the Signal and Communication Corps annual decoration. He serves as a Board Member at ScyllaDB. He served as a Board Member at WireX. He holds an LLB in Law from Ono Academic College.
