Biography

Ms. Sharon Vosmek serves as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Partner, Astia Fund & Member of the Board of Trustees at Astia. She served as Board Member at Ozo Innovations. She also serves as an Advisor at Oberon Securities. She also served as an Advisor at Illuminate Ventures. She served as a Board Member at On Second Thought. She has an unwavering passion and a uniquely well-suited background to drive forward the organization's mission of propelling women's full participation as entrepreneurs and leaders in high-growth businesses, fueling innovation, and driving the economy. Under her guidance, the Astia community of investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders has grown from 20 individuals in Silicon Valley; to more than 5,000 around the globe, representing every continent. Prior to joining Astia, she founded SJ Vosmek & Associates, a management firm that included clients such as PG&E, PacBell (now AT&T), and the University of Wisconsin Madison. She held management positions at American Express and in the office of United States Senator, Dennis DeConcini. She currently serves as a member of Astia Angels; the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst Experts Advisor Group; the AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors Advisory Committee; and the "Making Value for America" expert advisory committee for the National Academy of Engineering. She also served as an Advisor at StarVest Partners. She also serves as a Board Member at Ozo Innovations. She served as a Board Member at Pagedip.
