James Bonar Ph.D General Information
Biography
Dr. James Bonar was the Founder & served as the Chief Technology Officer at mLED. He was director of product technology at Alcatel Optronics UK and managing director of Ovisor Technologies. He has also worked in the areas of sensors for homeland security, next generation III-V solar cells and more recently GaN LED technology. This has culminated in the recent incorporation of mLED Ltd a company licensing microLED technology designed and developed at the Institute of Photonics, Strathclyde University. He has more than 40 technical publications and filed ten patents. He has a BEng (Hons) from Strathclyde University and a PhD from Glasgow University.
