Biography

Dr. Eric Zhang served as Partner at Capital Group Private Markets. Mr. Zhang has 16 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group two years. Prior to joining Capital Group Private Markets in 2012, he spent five years as an investment banker covering China with leading international and local investment banks including as a Managing Director with Credit Suisse in Hong Kong. Mr. Zhang received an MBA and also a Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering and materials science from Queen's University in Canada and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University in China. Mr. Zhang is based in our Hong Kong office.
