Venkat Subramanian General Information

Biography

Mr. Venkat Subramanian served as Vice President of Engineering at Waterline Data. Prior to joining Waterline, Venkat held the roles of both CTO and Vice President of Engineering at DataGuise. Before Dataguise, he managed SpikeSource's distributed platform engineering team responsible for automating product development and testing a cloud infrastructure. Venkat also served at Oracle in various leadership and executive positions over 13 years. Most notably, he ran Oracle's Database and Server Products R&D center in India at which time the center doubled in size to nearly 2,000 engineering staff in less than two years. Venkat also spearheaded the process related to product security emerging into an Oracle standard for all server products while overseeing key relationships with Oracle's large global customers and partners including NEC and Fujitsu.
