Biography

Mr. Erik Wenngren is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Spintop Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at AiBA, SkickaTarta.se, Waya Finance and Technology, Donkey Republic, Dazzle Rocks and DealDash. He served as a Board Member at Pacemaker and Practio. He served as a Board Member at Hemma. He was an Investor and served as an Early Funding Advisor at Kobalt Music. He also became a Senior Advisor to Teknoseed Portfolio Management in 2009 and is currently managing EW Capital which supports European early-stage companies from its London base. He is an active business angel investor in the UK with a current portfolio of 15 investments. Before this, he spent 18 years in investment banking where he managed over 100 IPOs at Enskilda Securities, Paribas, and Danske Securities. He has also held senior management positions at NYSE Euronext, the stock exchange group. He has lived and worked in the Nordics, UK, France, US, and Japan and has traveled extensively across especially Asia and Europe in business. He has a BSc from Lund University and an MBA from Columbia Business School where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. He currently also serves as a Board Member at Pastry Sweden and Waya Finance and Technology.
