Biography
Mr. Ning Tang is the Founder of CreditEase and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as Board Member of China Talent Group. Ning has years of microfinance experience dating back to his college years during which he went to Bangladesh to study poverty alleviation through microcredit with Professor Yunus. Ning founded CreditEase, China's first and now the biggest peer-to-peer microcredit platform in 2006 and has built the company organization with a service network covering more than 100 cities all over the country. On the innovative platform, people with extra funds (lenders) lend to people with funding needs (borrowers), all based on credit. Mr. Tang is a member of Tsinghua University China Entrepreneur Training Program's advisory committee, advisor to Peking University Social Entrepreneurship Training Program, and he also heads China Association of Microfinance's strategy committee. Mr. Tang studied mathematics at Peking University and obtained a degree in economics from Southern University. In 2018, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Southern University for his outstanding achievements in the field of financial technology.
