Biography

Dr. Lloyd Morrisett was a Co-Founder of the Sesame Workshop. He is also a Lifetime Honorary Trustee. At present, Morrisett is a Director of Tucows (a public company that is an international Internet services provider), and a member of the Board of Trustees of Public Agenda (a public opinion research and engagement organization dealing with public policy issues). Morrisett was a board member of the RAND Corporation (a research institute dealing with domestic public policy and national security issues) for thirty years and Chairman of the Board for nine years, 1986-1995. He continues as an Advisory Trustee. He was a trustee, for many years, of Oberlin College and was Chairman of the Board from 1975 to 1981. Dr. Morrisett received his B.A. at Oberlin College, did graduate work in psychology at U.C.L.A., and earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology at Yale University.
