Biography
Mr. Johan Pirot served as President & Chief Executive Officer at IP Video Systems. He has 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry to IP Video Systems. He was President of TeraBurst Networks successfully entering the company in the visualization networking market. Previously at Alcatel as vice president of IP strategy, he successfully developed and implemented Alcatel's IP strategy through strategic relationships and acquisitions of IP companies enabling Alcatel to enter the IP data market. Johan Pirot performed several network and product strategy functions, mainly in broadband access and data networking. His early career was in engineering and product management of online services and packet switching. Johan Pirot holds an MS degree in Electronics Engineering from the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium and an MBA from the Handelshogeschool Antwerpen, Belgium (associated with Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management).
