Biography

Mr. Sachin Johri serves as Chief Executive Officer at L&T Infrastructure Development Projects. Mr. Sachin Johri served as the Managing Director of IDFC Private Equity. He also served as a Board Member at Highway Concessions One. He served as a Board Member at Karaikal Port. Prior to joining IDFC, He served as a Senior Vice President at Macquarie's Singapore Office where he was responsible for regional corporate finance and infrastructure business. He directed Macquarie's initiatives in the infrastructure sector in India for the origination and execution of transactions. Prior to Macquarie, he worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he headed the project finance advisory and arranging business division. He worked with a large number of multinational clients, helping them raise finance for large projects and also providing strategic and bid advice to both government and private investors. In 2000, he moved to the firm's Singapore office where he was responsible for regional project finance and financial restructuring business. Sachin commenced his career in 1992 with ICICI, Mumbai where he worked on the first set of project financings in India. He was also an advisor to State Governments in their program to select bidders to develop large Independent Power Plants. Sachin holds a Masters's in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
