Dr. Max Lennon serves as Board Member at Duck Head Apparel. Dr. Max Lennon, Ph.D. has been President of the Education and Research Consortium of the Western Carolinas (ERC) since 2002. Dr. Lennon served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Foods, Inc., from August 1994 to March 1996. He served as President of Clemson University from March 1986 to August 1994. He was previously involved in higher education from 1966 to 1994. He served as President of Mars Hill College from 1996 to 2002. He served as an Independent Director of Delta Apparel Inc. since 1999 until November 10, 2011. He served as a Director of Delta Woodside Industries Inc. since 1986 and Duck Head Apparel Company Inc. since 1986. He serves as a Director of Duke Power Company. Dr. Lennon served as a Director of Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC and Duke Energy Corporation since 1988. During fiscal year 2003, Dr. Lennon attended the Harvard Faculty Program for continuing education on board governance.
