Biography

Mr. Jonathan Meltzer serves as Managing Partner, Chestnut Street & Triphammer at Alumni Ventures. Mr. Meltzer serves as a Managing Partner at Chestnut Street Ventures. He previously managed over $300 million of venture capital, private equity, and credit investments at a $1 billion single-family office. Before that, He invested throughout the capital structure of private companies at Ulysses Management and at American Capital, frequently serving as a board member or advisor. He began his career as an investment banker, spending five years at Wasserstein Perella and at Goldman Sachs. He earned his BS in Economics cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in three years, and his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School
