Biography

Dr. Yuriy Zadyraka is the Founder & serves as Technical Director at Advanced Microwave Technologies. He worked at the General Physics Institute (IOFAN) in Moscow for many years where he became one of their leading experts in applied microwave and plasma physics. Following his move to Scotland in 1995 he led numerous projects involving the use of microwaves and plasma in liquid waste streams including waste water, blood, milk, and pot ale for East of Scotland Water, West of Scotland Water, Scottish Water, Thames Water, and Heineken. In 2007 he formed Advanced Microwave Technologies with Douglas Armstrong to develop and commercialize a new method of delivering microwave energy into a continuously flowing liquid stream.
